Are you ready to get back into the event?  I know I am.  I spent the last couple of days outside working in my gardens and didn’t pay attention to my house.  You would think I would get it right as it isn’t my first rodeo.

Tonight I am going to write about how I get back to Dance TIll You FLY! mw System (c) 2014 featuring nine habits each day every day and if you get off track some like I have it isn’t hard to get back.

My focus is on my kitchen.  It is where most things are done in my home.  It really isn’t too bad but another day it would be.  I have this ‘3 day rule’ that everything stops until I get my home back to where I can easily function in it.

Face it, we all are going to have days like this and I am letting you know that I still do.  The important thing I have learned is my attitude towards it.  I no longer beat myself up when this happens.  It only delays your peace of mind.

I have been spending lots of time trying to find someone to help me with my blog to make it easy for you, my followers to read and navigate.  I have been borrowing from my spoon household account.  Now it is time to get back to it.

I will be doing this by setting the timer for 15ers or 15 minutes at a time followed by a 5 minute break.  Here are my before photos.

Here is my before picture.  It isn’t too bad.  Just don’t want it to get any worse.  This is where my ‘3 day rule’ comes in.

First, I always start with a sink full of hot soapy water.  I never leave dishes in the sink.  I have a tub under my sink where they go. Second, I go through and toss anything that can be thrown away and take the garbage out.  Third, I put things away where they belong.  Fourth, I wipe everything down and put out fresh dishcloth and towel.  That usually takes around 15 minutes.

Tonight I am waiting around for the dishwasher to finish so I can unload it and tomorrow I will be starting fresh.  I am sure you saw paperwork on my desk that is also in my kitchen with the computer.  I am going to spend another 15 minutes on that.  The rest will have to be for tomorrow.  I need time to empty the dishwasher and get the coffee ready for tomorrow.  I swept the floor earlier so no need to do it again.

Here is after.  It took 2- 15ers which included waiting for the dishwasher to finish and unload them.  Now I start fresh for tomorrow!

So you see, it could have taken much longer if I would have spent time feeling guilty that I didn’t keep up.  The fact is it happens and the best way to move forward is to put one dance step in front of the other with a few side steps.
