Day 13 Of The Great Declutter Your Kitchen And Organize Your Pantry

Nuwave – The Infared Oven

It has been great with the decluttering of my kitchen to date.  I designated a cooking triangle that I look at as prime real estate in my kitchen.  Things I don’t use a lot of either are blessed on to someone else or moved to another part of the kitchen.

This made it easy to have a place for my new Nuwave Infared Oven in the cabinet under my range top.  Today, I decided to take it out for a test drive.  I haven’t done much studying up on it.  It was a gift from my mom.

I placed the chicken in from the frozen state.  Entered the time of 15 minutes and have turned it once.  I also placed it on high heat level.  Time will tell how it turns out.

I know for me eating for one has to be simple and hassel free.  I love cooking on the gas grill outside.  I want easy clean up as well.  It is looking good so far.  I will start with eating a side salad while I wait for my chicken to finish.

I got to say I was impressed.  It had a crust on the outside and was juicy on the inside.  Even Lily and Fred liked it.  I tested some buffalo wings too and they were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Clean up was pretty easy as well.  Now would I go out and buy one for myself?  I doubt it.  I don’t think I would use it enough to justify it.  This is my honest opinion.  I would rather spend my money on a new camera.

To be fair, I did find a link on the Nuwave Infared Oven Reviews from Amazon .  Feel free to read the reviews.  Will the Nuwave Infared Oven earn its prime time real estate space in my kitchen.  It is still to be determined.  You can bake, dehydrate, and roast a chicken will be the true test.

My tummy is full.  The oven is cleaned and put away.  Next will be a much deserved Sunday afternoon nap.
