Friday’s Weekly Wrap Up

Posted on Posted in Garden, Home

But it’s Saturday!  Yes I know.  Today will be the exception to the rule.  Honestly?  Yesterday I simply ran out of steam.  So let’s just pretend it is Friday.  I won’t tell!

I am pleased to announce that I have come up with a weekly format that will be easy to follow.  I am excited about it and hope you will be too.

I will be taking the blogs that I wrote this week and write about the wonderful comments I have gotten and then share the link for each one.

In case you missed one, this will give you the opportunity to see all three posts I write each week.  I decided for now I am going to focus on writing three and put more research into them.  Using Friday as wrapping up the current week will also give you the convenience of looking over the three I wrote for the week and the comments I received inviting you to continue the conversation if you like.

Losing Ground is about my recent trip to Iowa to visit my 102 year old great aunt. We visited the countryside to find many changes in the past 2 years. There were less building sites and trees and more open land. It is also the home of many wind turbans. You will see in the photos the damage of wind erosion to the top soil that has fallen victim to the roadside ditches. Read what others have commented on this subject and feel free to comment as well. It is an issue that needs to be addressed in all states and on a federal level.

Children’s May Day Baskets  Join me as I go down ‘memory lane’ about one of the fun spring traditions I experienced and how it seems to be less celebrating each year. Let’s help get it going again. It is a tutorial where I went in real time to make my own May Basket. Perfectionism was replaced with good old fashion ‘fun!’ The best part was eating the cookies!

102 Years Old! Oh My! is about my recent trip to visit my great aunt who is 102 years old. Follow the timeline of her life at different ages and read about the events that took place that year. I found it fascinating by comparing my age to date and what was happening for me. Read some of the wonderful comments too.

There you have it.  Three posts I wrote this week with links to give you the convenience to read one or all three.  This week was all Lifestyle.  Next week I will start Marilyn’s Way Weekly Format that will make it convenient for you.

There is so much information on the internet that it can be overwhelming. My promise to you is when you visit and read my blog I will make it enjoyable, write and get to the point quickly and give you something to think about each week. Some or all may interest you. You get to choose. I don’t mind.

Thank you for visiting Marilyn’s Way ‘Friday’s Weekly Wrap Up.’  Hope to see you again next Friday!

Have questions?  Feel free to ask!

(Note:  All information written comes from Marilyn Foster’s perception on various subjects.  It is for educational and entertainment purposes only.  Thank you.)
