Get Up Close And Personal With Marilyn’s Way 9 Habits!

When I named my blog and facebook page Marilyn’s Way To Organization For Home And Garden and calling it Marilyn’s Way for short, it has always meant for you to find ‘Your Way’.  I simply give you a guide of 9 habits that everyone should do each day to get from day to day smoothly.  How you do it is totally up to you!

You see the 9 habits are the foundation in which you can build upon and personalize for yourself.  When I was searching for a way to get rid of my CHAOS and clutter I kept failing because I was trying to do it their way.

The one thing I did learn was practicing a specific habit until it becomes natural.  I did just that when I took the personal challenge of Flylady’s March Habit Getting Dressed To Shoe, Hair, Makeup and posting a daily photo and mini blog for 436 consecutive days.  I was a pajama junkie of 5 years and needed to change if I was to have any chance of getting rid of CHAOS and clutter.

I have a few things stacked up against me to complete this.  I suffer from Major Depressive Disorder or Clinical Depression, FibromyalgiaAdult Attention Deficit DisorderSevere Sleep Apnea, Cycolthymic or Mild Bipolar Disorder, and Hypothyroidism.

After looking at my list you may wonder, why even get out of bed?  I tried that.  I felt worse.  Then I went through a period of staying up for 2 days just so I could do everything that most organizational systems ask of you because it takes longer with some tasks for me than most. How did that work you may wonder?  It didn’t.

That is when Marilyn’s Way Dance Till You FLY! System was born featuring 9 habits to do each day that will assist in getting you out of CHAOS and clutter so you may take care of yourself, your family and your home.  It doesn’t matter how you do any of the habits.  You do them however they will work for you.

Why are the 9 Habits Successful?

Because you come to realize that they are the foundation and must be done each day to keep the status quo.  Eventually you find your own rhythm to Dance Till You FLY!  From there, you can personalize it even more by practicing a set of ‘Weekly Habits’ for a specific day of your choice.  I chose to name them in dance style terms to make it fun. The third part are the ‘Zones’ that are actually Monthly Habits for a specific zone or room for one week of the month.

What About All The Rest?

If you become consistent with the 9 Habits, the Weekly Habits and the zones the rest will take care of itself.  How may you ask?  Because they become so automatic that they free up your time to do seasonal projects or extra decluttering when you can.  Just like our body’s foundation is the skeletal part of our body so are the 3 parts to Marilyn’s Dance Till You FLY! System.

Get up close and personal to Marilyn’s Way Dance Till You FLY! System keeping it simple to work for you and your way.  I don’t know about you, but I have a lot of living to do and I don’t want to spend my every waking moment cleaning.
