Create a ‘Family Fun Day’ each week!  Kids are more likely to keep their rooms in order if you make that part of the deal,  In order to have Family Fun Day each child must get their room cleaned and know what they are wearing to school for the week.

Do you have any idea how much time with this one task that is delegated will save you?  Lot’s!  The key to this is to not be too hard on them if they don’t get everything done according to how you always do things.  This exercise is NOT about doing it perfectly.  It is about teaching your child a simple habit that he/she is responsible for each week.  As time goes on he/she will get better at it.  Isn’t that what happens to us?
