Put Something In Every Room That Makes You Smile!

This is the area in my Living Room that makes me smile.  I turn on the candles with the running water each morning while I meditate.  It helps me start my day.

I just love my members of Marilyn’s Way group.  So much talent in the group!  I was reading in the threads and two members made a comment that we should put something in every room that makes us smile!  A light bulb went off for me and just thought I had to write about it!  There are so many reasons to do this!

  • Your day just isn’t going like you wanted it to go, stop and focus on the item that makes you smile.  If you have something in every room, all you have to do is stop and look at it and get those endorphins going again!

  • Maybe you have found yourself slacking in your routines.  Start a 15 minute Cha Cha Cha around the item that makes you smile.  Cha Cha Cha is simply a fun way to pick up and put away and when you are done just do a Cha Cha Cha dance step.  Who knows?  It may be just the thing to help you jump back in.

  • Maybe you are a gardener like me and what I have learned these past three years of consistent FLYing May and June is when my home is not at it’s best.  Due to limited space, my Dining Room turns into a greenhouse.  I am going to be on the hunt to look for some type of a display I can put on my wall that has the clock on it.  That will go in my Progressive Task List because I want to find something to make me smile.  Once I finish planting flowers and some vegetables I will be able to pack up my seeds I didn’t use to store for the coming year. When everything is put away, I intend to display a Garden Whimsy I have made as a centerpiece for my dining room table!  Now, that’s just enough motivation I need to finish with the planting and get the greenhouses put away!

Whatever makes you smile, find a place in every room so you can get that opportunity to smile every day!  FLYing means First Love Yourself.  Others come next.  We can’t love others or even things if we don’t love ourselves first.
