Day 11 Of Greatest Paper Clutter Eliminator Game

Yes this morning the garbage men were here and took all of my paper shreddings.  I even managed to shred one more bag on the pile.

Some were upset that I didn’t recycle.  I do recycle.  I just wasn’t going to recycle this information.  It had lots of emotional attachment to it and I just couldn’t see part of my papers in a recycled paper that may give off bad karma.  I don’t think I was being selfish.  I think I was being considerate  of others.  I didn’t want my bad luck to be brushed onto others through this paper.  Maybe it is crazy thinking.  I just know it is my thinking and did put thought into it.

I thank all of you who have cheered me on in this adventure.  It took me 14 years to get some of the paperwork out of my home and I know there are ones like me who are dealing with this sort of paperwork.

It was very hard at first.  Then I gave myself permission to just turn over the pages so I wouldn’t have to look at the writing.  If you are out there, I hope you can start on it.  I can’t believe how much better I feel just in this short period of time.

Today, my paper clutter I will be dealing with is my mail and that will be plenty for me.  From now on I am just going to declutter paper 15 minutes a day unless something else changes.

I am not even sure if I will write on Paper Clutter for the entire month.  One of the types of paper clutter is books and that is something I decluttered last month and donated many books to the Women’s Center for Domestic Violence along with my suits and a sewing machine.

All I know is I have more space and part of Paper Clutter Month will be moving things in with placing items I use on a frequent basis to be more  accessible for me and the flow of my home.

If you haven’t started practicing October’s Habit of Paper Clutter, please start.  You will be glad that you did especially with the holidays coming.

Well, I still have a few stray paper shreds on my kitchen floor and that will be next to do, sweep them up.  I have done more sweeping these past eleven days.  I see why many don’t want to start but it is so worth it.  This is helping you indirectly with your holidays and the new year that is not too far from us.  Use “The Power of 15 Minutes”  “Just 15” and you will be amazed at what you can get rid of!

Keep Getting Rid of Paper Clutter and Keep FLYing!

This is the Paper Clutter I am working on today.  Can you see how easily Paper Clutter can  build up simply with getting your mail?
