What Is A Refrigerator Boogie?

Posted on Posted in Flying with Fibromyalgia, Kitchen, Marilyns Way, Organization, The Flylady

Someone just asked this question and I am thinking for easy reference maybe putting it in the files section would be the best place. Another place is my blog Marilyn’s Way My goal is always to make it easy for you to find things within the capacity we have in this group.

Refrigerator Boogie! is using Wednesday or the day before you do your Errand Day or Grocery Day. You don’t want to go shopping for groceries, bring them all in and then have to spend time cleaning out the fridge.

Basically you go through your fridge and find all the nasties and also take inventory of what food you do have and what is needed to buy.

This is also the time to wipe it out. This is the best time when empty. If you create this habit as a weekly habit on a specific day, you won’t have to deal with nasties and science projects.

This is the definition of a Refrigerator Boogie. Boogie is just a fun word for going through and cleaning out.

Hope this helps explain it.

  1. Just an FYI for anyone else who finds this, Flylady redid her website and the link in the ” Click on this link Refrigerator Boogie! to read a blog about the subject.” line no longer works.
