MARILYN’S WAY  Plan and Play Day, Getting Dressed To Shoes Hair and Makeup.  Wasn’t able to post yesterday as was spending time with my great aunt all day and got back late last night.  There has been a change of plans as we are staying an extra few days.  Tomorrow is Hilda’s actual 100th Birthday and is having a party with residents and public tomorrow.  She wanted us to stay for it and so we are. 

Today is going to be an interesting day.  We my mom and I will be helping Hilda do some “Decluttering” today!  There isn’t much room in a nursing home room and Hilda wants to get some decluttering done.  So how about that!  I am continuing to fly away from home!  She wants to go  through her closet and dressers.  What will we do?  Nothing better then the “Throw Away, Give Away, and Put Away!”  My mom tends to get high anxiety thinking she has to do it all and I am here to pitch in so I have put myself in charge of this project.  I am amazed at myself how calm I am.  Normally without a plan, my mom and I would be at each other’s throats by the time that we finish.  Today I know it will be less because I have been practicing Plan and Play Day with my Decluttering each day.  The point is that everything does begins to flow like a peaceful flowing creek.  You can get there by way of babysteps!  Keep practicing getting dressed to shoes.  Yay for all that are and it is never too late to jump in!  I am off to the little town of Pomeroy, Iowa to visit my great aunt Hilda and help her with some decluttering!
