Getting Dressed To Shoes Hair and Makeup
Wednesday, March 7, 2012    AUNT HILDA’S 100TH BIRTHDAY!!!
MARILYN’S WAY   Anti Procrastination Day, Refrigerator Boogie, Menu Planning, Partial Desk Day AND Getting Dressed To Shoes!  I get to practice my antiprocrastination project and that is to return a top that is too small.  A real cute one too, BUT is too small and I don’t believe in saving it for when I lose weight.  It isn’t an incentive for me.  The reason behind buying it is you will see one of my pictures when I post them from my trip, I have been “Glistening” the entire time.  Sure is warm in a nursing home!  I didn’t bring a short sleeve top.  It was blizzarding when I left.  Yesterday beautiful.  Today dreary and windy.  We will be stopping at another store and maybe they will have one that fits.

I am proud to say I have kept up with shining my sink in the motel room.  I have also been making my bed, not perfectly but it is getting made.  What I haven’t been doing is Swishing.  I guess I am Swiping!  We will see how this affects me when I get back home.  All I know is I wish I had my own brand of toilet paper!  That is what I am actually thinking instead of swishing! Ha!  Maybe more information than what you want but it is a fact. 

I was disappointed that Willard Scott from NBC didn’t announce my great aunt Hilda’s birthday.  My cousin filled out lots of paperwork online and then got a letter that they couldn’t guarantee her birthday being announced.  I still hoped it would happen.  It was actually Willard Scott’s birthday.  He is 78 years old today.

Last night Mom and I played three games of Skip Bo.  She won two out of the three.  You know there will be a rematch!  But first, it is off to see great aunt Hilda and finish two drawers to declutter.  We took two lamps out that she didn’t want.  She can’t see with them and felt it was just “In The Way.”  In other words, CLUTTER!  I have a floor light just like it and am going to replace mine with hers as it is a better quality and then I will be BLESSING MINE TO THE WORLD!  Hold me to this.  I can’t think of an extra place for another floor lamp.  Boy this decluttering works!  At first when she said she didn’t want it, I felt my blood pressure go up!  What are we going to do with it??  I believe I found the solution.

I am taking photos daily and will post them when I get back.  The plan is to leave tomorrow morning.  It is a good 5 1/2 – 6 hours.  This will give me time to restock my weekly grocery list and I can do “Errand Day!”  On this vacation it is amazing how well I am FLYing!  Now, off to visit Aunt Hilda and another Birthday Party!
