Getting Dressed To Shoes Hair and Makeup

MARILYN’S WAY Paperwork, Car, Purse Boogie Day and Date Night. I got home around midnight last night and was very late before I was able to wind down from the trip back from Iowa where we visited my great aunt who turned 100 years old on Wednesday. I am surprised my flowers still look good. I removed a few but not many. We are both very tired and a load of laundry is in order. Lily moved from the couch to a rug besides me. She is so tired she didn’t even get excited at all when I put on my lace up shoes.
I decided to post my pictures through March for sure. This is such an important habit that has made all the difference in the world to me and I hope you all can share this. Having said this, I am also realistic. I didn’t want to get dressed too bad today and did take the morning off. Then I realized it was old behavior and I was feeling worse. How did I get dressed to shoes today? I found my timer and did 2 15 minutes and I am ready for anything. THat could even include a nap. I do have all my basics done and will be making a nice dinner. After I post it is a load of laundry. Oh, I did swish the toilet! I was a bit afraid that I would forget as I didn’t do this on my trip. By associating two items together when I am in the bathroom like I swish my toilet, wash my hands and face and then swipe everything down. It worked great today.
It is great to be home and it was really wonderful to come home to a shiny sink after vacation!
