Getting Dressed To Shoes Hair and Makeup

MARILYN’S WAY   Errand Day.     I was supposed to have a contractor show up today and no show.  So instead I spent the afternoon with Kevin Costner and Paperwork.  I watched the movie JFK and then went through boxes labeled “Paperwork.” Might have to do some more linking or piggybacking this way as I am not fond of paperwork and very fond of Kevin Costner whom in which I actually met in 1996 and yes he is “Dreamy.”  He has a new song out “When The Angels Come Down” that is a beautiful song about soldiers in their final moments here on earth.  You can get it on iTunes.

The movie came on right about the time I usually post.  I didn’t want to stop what I was doing.  I hope no one minds.  I was into the rhythm of FLYing!  It has been a good day.  Last night I started on my “Problem Room Makeover.”  Was waiting for my neighbor girls to help me but that hasn’t happened.  I did some more measuring and was able to move some things to the side I want without too much effort and was able to keep it confined to the room.  It must have been a good thing that I started because I sure slept well last night.  Unfinished business can suck the life out of a person.  I have some of that that involves other people.  I thought this project was one too waiting for the girls and was really draining my energy.  I am so glad I reconsidered measuring in the room to see if I could move the bed and still get around in there until the bed goes in it’s final destination.  I will post pictures when I am done.  I would like it to be done before I get into the vegetable garden.

Many of you are running errands today.  Tomorrow I may go to town to wash clothes at Mom’s until I can get another washing machine.  Thank You Mom.  I was really getting comfortable with doing a load of laundry a day until it quit working.  I am sure I will be able to get back into the habit again because it does make a difference.   Hope you had as good of a day as I have.  If you have something you have been putting off, try linking it with something fun to get the job done.  If it is dishes, light a candle and sing your favorite songs!  That’s one way to get the dishes done!

Day 43  (one year ago)

Problem Room New Floor Plan

I am creating a divider or false wall with cabinets so the space on the right will be storage and on the left side of the room will be the bed and dressers.  I am creating a closet for the stuff I still need to keep and this is the only room I can store the stuff with easy access.  This will be my Guest Room for my mom when she visits.  Wish me luck on this project!
