Getting Dressed To Shoes, Hair and Makeup

MARILYN’S WAY  Paperwork Day, Car & Purse Boogie, and Date Night.  Friday the 13th can’t be that bad.  After all it is Date Night!  Everyone has their opinions on Friday the 13th.  Today I have a cousin having a birthday and also the gal that cuts and highlights my hair.  Happy Birthday Phyliss and Lisa!

Today was a fun day for me as well!  Ann Sharpsteen interviewed me for a piece she is doing on Marla Watson Cilley, “The Flylady.”  I would love to tell you all about it.  Instead if you can wait a week to 10 days you will be able to read it.  It goes to a Memphis, TN paper and then will go out on the wire of the I think she said associated press.  I will tell you I was very happy with the outcome of the interview and both of us will stay in contact with each other as Ann writes the piece.  Come to think about it, one thing I did forget to stress is the importance of having breaks in your day and doing this just to clear your thoughts and rest a bit is one way to be productive once your break is over.  This is something I have learned and I feel Marla would agree with me.  We have so many devices that can overstimulate our mind that it is good just to rest it for 15 minutes.  And while you are at it, drink that glass of water.  Try this and see if it works.  I think you all know the answer.

On another note, our lives have to have an ending of the day, so we can begin again anew.  One way you can do this is always go to bed with a shiny sink that will greet you when you get up.  It wants to smile back at you!  That is why Marla’s book is called “Sink Reflections”  This all ends and starts with your sink.  I say end first because ending your day with a shiny sink is what is going to keep you from hitting that snooze button in the morning!
