How many flowers have you planted in peoples yards to find out they are not going to water them? Of course I am speaking metaphorically. I ran across this quote from a Facebook friend.

It is a great quote to live by. So many of us meet new people thinking they are like yourself and are willing to share things with these new friends before testing out the waters.

Yes, we all want to believe all people are good as a whole. Yet to F.L.Y we must First Love Yourself. Often we are so good at protecting our little ones from danger. When it comes to ourselves we forget to use these rules as well.

Next time you meet someone, maybe plant a flower in there yard first to see how they take care of it. There is where the answer will lay as to how great the friendship will grow.
