I have been so busy with the vegetable harvest that I overlooked the apples, carrots and celery in my fridge. If it was just carrots and celery I would simply dice them up along with other ingredients to make up a soup. The problem is I have all of these apples. Sure, I could have baked a pie but it has been a very long time since I have made my own crust plus I can’t seem to get the calories out of apple pie!
There is another alternative and it is called ‘Juicing!’ I can actually use all three of the ingredients to make a healthy drink! In fact, I am drinking my juice as I write this blog and I am finding it is EXACTLY what I need for some added energy and feeling satisfied. Sometimes you just have to say no to that ninth cup of coffee and say yes to fresh juice filled with vitamins and minerals. That is just what I did too.
Give juicing a try. You will get hooked on it when you taste all the ingredients blended together. It says, “Yummy!”
