Help! Springing Ahead Is Affecting My FLYing!

There is lots of research on Circadian Rhythm if you really want to get into it.  All I know is I am feeling blah and jet lagged.

There is research that all living things right down to individual cells need time to adjust to the change.  So how does this affect your FLYing?  I decided I am giving myself a 10 Day Adjustment Period.  I have a sleep disorder and it seems to be harder on me.

What can you do?  Give yourself some TLC.  If your habits and routines seem to take longer, so be it.  Getter’ Done anyway.  What you should not do?  Start on that project you have been meaning to do for the past six months.  Stay away from Marathon Cleaning.  Give your body and mind a chance to adjust.  We don’t always have to go full throttle ALL of the time.

I deal with Fibromyalgia and the time change does not mix well together.  I know that now.  So I surrender to doing a basic daily routine that I developed.  If this is all I do in a day, these 9 habits will keep me in motion.  I have made a deal with myself to always do these habits daily.  The priority of these routines are as important as well.  1. Before Bedtime Routine   2. Morning Routine   3. Afternoon Routine.  If I am really struggling, I always do my Before Bedtime Routine and my Morning Routine even if it takes me ALL DAY TO DO IT!!

Here is a link of my blog  Where Do I Start?   Last night was very difficult to get my Before Bedtime Routine done.  I didn’t take the time to unload the dishwasher in the morning so here I am.  Talk about Drama!  Then came the voice, “It takes maximum of 5 minutes to unload the dishwasher Marilyn.  Work it in with getting the coffee ready for the morning and shining your sink.”  Before I knew it, all three habits were done!

I know you are tired.  I know you feel blah.  It is part of this Time Change.  Give yourself some TLC and Love yourself enough to get your basics done.  Your mind and body will thank you for it.
Keep FLYing!
Marilyn
