It’s Monday! Time To Work Out!

This is my third time to the Field House working out.  It is the high school where I graduated in 1977.  I wasn’t sure what I would find tonight by way of how many would be there.  It was just a handful.

I started out on the eliptical machine.  I lasted 5 minutes.  Then I did my leg exercises, stomach, arms, shoulders and chest.  Today I read from Health Body Project Facebook page that says there are 1,440 minutes in a day.  Can you spare 30 of them for exercise?  It really is an interesting question when you think about it.  So why isn’t the majority of the people doing this?  If you draw a pie equaling 1440 minutes and you take a slice out that is 30 minutes, in the scale of things it is like a sliver.

I finished weight lifting with another 5 minutes of stepping on the eliptical machine.  So this entire adventure from beginning to end adding in driving time equals one hour.  I have spent an hour on Pinterest and it went flying by.  I am on Marilyn’s Way on my page and in my closed group on Facebook helping others to find their own way to organization for home and garden.  Can I do this and workout too?  Well, that is what this is all about.

I am known for Getting Dressed To Shoes, Hair & Makeup using Flylady lessons.  Today I am finishing up Day 350.  I am getting so close to a year.  Now, I am challenging myself to go workout at the Field House three times a week.  I had such a great summer last year with gardening and yard work and walkabouts.  It took me a while to get in shape.  This year I am starting early with adding the habit of working out so I will have it established and then I can enjoy my gardening.
Until Next Time,
Marilyn

I am giving this my best shot!  I would be happy to lose 20 pounds.  Losing 30 pounds I would be ecstatic!

Lots of nice equipment available for all county residents.

Barely a handful there.  I don’t mind.

  1. DH has collected some machines over the years and they are in the basement with a cold cement floor. We've been "talking" about using them. 🙂
A good project for us would be to finish one area to make it pleasant because right now I just don't want to be down there. I do excersize a bit in the TV room, not enough though. You are an inspiration!
