Some have started school already but most will be starting this coming week. One of the 9 habits of Marilyn’s Way Dance Till You FLY! is to always have your ‘Launch Pad Ready’.
What Is A Launch Pad?
A launch pad can be as simple as knowing where your keys are to having a command center, hooks for coats, book bags, and a clearing for whatever else needs to be ready for the coming day.
This is my ‘Launch Pad’ for today. A launch pad can also be a way to focus on what is important to get done for the day as well. I am a gardener and it is ‘Canning Season’. To some it may look like a cluttered mess. To me it means I must allot time in my day to put away the beans that have already been canned, freeze the sugar snap peas, make room in the refrigerator for the cucumbers and the zuchinni and start snapping green beans to get ready to can again.
Someone that works away from the home’s launch pad will consist of a purse, keys, briefcase, lunch, any returns or donation bags that can be done on the way home from work.
Yet a home that has school aged children will consist of keys, purse, book bags, coats, lunches, projects to take to school.
Whatever your plans are for the next day, create a ‘Launch Pad Ready’ area in your home. It can be as simple as ‘Where are your keys?’ to lining everything up that you plan to do so you can get an early start on the projects and ‘Dance Till You FLY!’
