Meet Mrs. Robin And Her Young!

Posted on Posted in spring, Uncategorized

I have been so patient waiting for this moment where I could capture a close up of Mrs. Robin and her young.

As the gardening season continues, the robins in my yard have become more and more friendly. Could it be my charming personality that they like so well?

Actually why they love my yard is water. I am always watering one garden or another and they know where there is water, there will be worms to eat.

Today was no exception. I was working on one of my many summer projects that required water. Soon I had Mrs. Robin hanging out with me.

What I Didn’t Expect

I decided it was time for a break and took one. Then I looked out the kitchen window and what did I see? Peter Rabbit! Out the door I go to scare him off. While I was out there I decided to check out my vegetable garden to see if anything was eaten. This led me to weeding until I heard the chirps of a baby bird. Not far behind was Mrs. Robin.

I slipped into the house to grab my camera. I can say I was lucky at getting a few good shots. Here’s a treat to share with you!
