Wow!! I was so excited on the anticipation of getting a new shiny sink that I didn’t think I could get any happier but I am! You see my old sink had marks on it that I couldn’t get off and really bothered me. That wasn’t the reason for the new sink. The reason was it had rusted out and began leaking. Luckily I had a pail under my sink. I would fill it up with hot soapy water and then it seemed like the level of water kept getting lower. I thought it was the drain plug. So I tightened it in making sure it got a good seal. Nope. Still had a very slow draining.
What do I do? I get my flashlight out and look under the sink to see a pail of water and that it was dripping from drain and thought it was just a seal. I have to admit I procrastinated some with this and used a dish pan for a week pouring the used water down the other drain. Finally got the courage to get a plumber out here. (Anti Procrastination Day) I had a couple other things that needed to be looked at as well. My dishwasher and outside faucet. Both leaking.
The dishwasher and outside faucet got fixed on Friday. Harry, the plumber said I would need a new sink and showed me where it rusted out. Today, he came back to put in the new shiny sink. I was able to visit while he was installing it. He one that collects Fire Engine Trucks and had a picture to show me. I found that to be rather interesting. I have already used my new shiny sink and it works great! What more could a flybaby want?
