Lily says,  “Let’s Say Hi To Everyone Today!”

MARILYN’S WAY  Dropping by for a Surprise Visit!  What better day than Antiprocrastination Day and Drink Your Water Month.  What is your antiprocrastination project today?  Maybe you are like me and have many.  It is very easy to get overwhelmed by this myself included.  I am here to say to you STOP!!!!!  Listen, we are all going to have more than one antiprocrastination project to do.  All Flylady and myself are asking you to do is one antiprocrastination project whether it is a phone call, decluttering a drawer, or maybe one load of laundry.  Myself I chose 2.

The first one was my bathroom.  I stayed at Mom’s for a few days and got out of the habit of swishing and swiping.  Imagine that!  So after I got done taking my shower, I decided to air dry, grab my purple wrag and do some swiping.  Things like the toilet bowel and sink, mirrors and outside of tub.  Then I swished the toilet.  I have associated or linked together swishing the toilet with curling my hair.  Whatever works!  I am sure Lily was wondering, “What is taking so long for her to get ready this morning?  She should have been out of the bathroom by now!”  (Lily always lays on a rug outside the bathroom while I shower.)  I was taking my shower and thinking of the things I wanted to do today and my thought was, “Wherever I am standing, I am using the “Do It Now” principle.  By golly it is working!

I am not sure how long I will last outside gardening.  It is rather muggy and with fibromyalgia it just doesn’t go well together.  The important thing is that I don’t want to get overheated so it keeps me from doing my habits and routines in my house.  Do you want to know what the most exciting part of today is?  Tomorrow is GARBAGE DAY!  I have some things to go and will feel so great to be rid of it!

Just pick one Antiprocrastination Project today, lay your clothes out for tomorrow and shine your sink before you go to bed.  See what a difference your day will be tomorrow!
