Tomorrow is July 1st. It means we are starting Zone 1 the Entrance/Porch and Dining area. This also includes the Outside Entrance of your home in Gardening The Flylady Way.
Many times when we think of Entrance we are just thinking about the Front Door where your guests arrive. But what about the back door? I have been spending time outside with the gardening and the mowing. Most of this is in the back yard. Recently I did a Flylady Triple Dog Dare getting my post anchored and cemented in the hole for the gate to Lily’s play area. I added some cement pavers as well. This allowed me the opportunity to I spend lots of time looking at the back door.
The power of the subliminal eventually worked its magic because the other day this muddied combination door with Lily’s paw prints began screaming at me. “Please wash me! Every month when Zone 1 comes around you seem to forget about me!” So yesterday for Antiprocrastination Day, I cleaned the outside of the combination door and also the inside. I used the Rubba Scrubba and Purple Wrag. This all took me LESS than 15 minutes! Sometimes it takes several times before something gets noticed. Now, I am making a note to include the Back Door in Zone 1 each month. Do you have a back door or side door that needs attention? Add it to your Zone 1 list and never forget it again!
