This season I have a grow light, water melted from snow, and a small greenhouse that I have placed in the east window of the second bedroom. What was left to do? To purchase some seed starting soil and replacement pellets for one of my small green houses with a heated mat. I hung the light from the ceiling but now realize the light needs to be very close to the seedlings. It looks like there is a way to hang the light within the greenhouse so that is part of my project getting closer to getting some seeds started.
Before. I hung it from the ceiling and was too far away from the seedlings |
After. The light fits nicely in the greenhouse |
Planting begins! |
But not until tomorrow. Habit #6 – Making Dinner is first. Judging how tired I feel from my shopping trip, I know planting would take me longer than 15 minutes and dinner can’t wait if I want to eat and move on to Habit #7 Shine Your Sink, Habit #8 Lay Out Clothes and Habit #9 Launch Pad Ready. Part of #9 is started. All my planting supplies are together. I will be thinking what seeds I have that I want to plant first. The rest is some paperwork and preparing to write for the local newspaper. Deadline is Tuesday morning.
It is funny how it becomes this easy to plan when the nine habits each day every day are broken up during the day. I even got a Sunday afternoon nap!
