Anti Procrastination Job Got Done Today!

Posted on Posted in Flying with Fibromyalgia, Organization, The Flylady

I was supposed to meet Marla Watson Cilley today but they hadn’t made it to Mount Rushmore yet.  She is going to call me tonight to let me know where they will be staying.  Change of plans, we meet tomorrow.

What does one do instead when she is so excited to meet the Flylady?  Well a good flybaby would do what I did!  Perform an AntiProcrastination Job!  That’s right.  It is a job I was always going to do but never got around to it.  It wasn’t until I decluttered my outdoor shed that I found this piece of wood that would work for the job.  The board has been in my house for almost a week and is actually in the way of my routines.

The project?  To put a back on my island that I moved into my kitchen.  Before I could do it, I had to take measurements and then cut the wood.  Now do you see why I had been putting it off for so long?

Done Is Better Than Perfect!
I have been saying this all summer long as I did my gardening and look how that turned out?  Not too bad!  Why not just go for it with this project?  That is exactly what I did!  Now all I have to do is paint it and that will have to be at a later date.  Perhaps another AntProcrastination Project?
Keep FLYing!
Marilyn

First I had to mark it so I could cut it.
Nothing beats Painters Tape when you don’t have an extra hand!
Through the sawing, drilling and hammering, Sir Frederick laid there and watched.  Lily was no where to be found!  She thinks she is so tough but things like this and thunderstorms are not her cup of tea!
