Day 2 Of The Greatest Paper Clutter Eliminator Game In Marilyn’s Way!  Remember, you are a winner even if you get rid of ONE piece of paper today!  We want to also make this a daily habit for ourselves to do each day to ELIMINATE  the FEELING OF ALWAYS BEING OVERWHELMED WHEN IT COMES TO PAPER CLUTTER!  I wrote this in caps because I want you to be successful with this habit.

I am doing this too.  This has been a struggle for myself.  I think one of the reasons is because when I think of paper clutter, the first thing that comes to mind are my bills that need to be paid which some months they don’t get paid and have to wait until the next month.  Just a fact of life for me.

BUT if I can get my Paper Clutter under control, maybe it will lead me to taking better care of my finances and I can end the late fees!  Now, do you see what I just did?  I got too far into my head and started thinking too hard!  Don’t!  If you become overwhelmed, go on a scavenger hunt and look for meaningless pieces of paper and put them in the category of the “Dust Bunnies!”  Send them out the door!

Flylady has a list of 23 items that are paper clutter.  It is in Marilyn’s Way Closed Group and Marilyn’s Way To Organization For Home And Garden Open Page  Look for it.  You can also find it on her Facebook Page and Website.  Click on the link.  No Excuses Allowed!

Ways you can do this is count the number of pieces, or the amount of time spent.  Let’s see how many pounds lighter we will all be by playing “The Greatest Paper Clutter Eliminator Game!”  We are all winners!  Just get rid of at LEAST One Piece of Paper.  I know once you get started you will want to go for more.

Remember this too!  WE ARE ALL ON DIFFERENT LEVELS OF PAPER CLUTTER.  NO JUDGEMENTS ALLOWED.  I have been working on paper clutter before Flylady in 2005 and I have gotten rid of lots.  Some of you this will be your first Rodeo.  Just get started!  Make this a game!  I promise you will be happier for doing it as the holidays are coming up and many decorating already.  Wouldn’t it be nice come November not having to decorate around the paper clutter??
Keep FLYing!
Marilyn
