Day 23 Of Greatest Paper Clutter Eliminator Game!

Day 23  You have heard the saying, “Life Happens When You Are Busy Making Other Plans.”  Well, this certainly has been the day for this!  That’s when you go to your tool box and pull out the tool, “Flexibility.”  I am so glad I have that tool.  I find I use it quite often and because of this tool I am able to STILL keep FLYing.

What will I do for my Paper Clutter Eliminator Game today since everything has been changed around?  For one thing while I was out and about I stopped at the Post Office and picked up my mail.  I have company.  My mom is here.  She made a nice lunch and we invited my brother Tom over so he could visit with Mom.  Well the weather didn’t turn out to be Sunny and 75 but instead chance of rain to come.  My brother is a farmer and was discing in the field and called and couldn’t make it in so we took lunch to him.  Very common when it comes to farming because Mother Nature really is the one that controls this industry.

Tom wanted Mom to ride with him in the tractor while he ate.  There is a second seat in there.  So I was going to have to wait in the car.  Then I thought, no I don’t.  I was only 2 miles from my house and decided to take advantage of it and get me some “Me Time.”  When Mom visits she always sits in the recliner chair and that is fine with me EXCEPT it kind of throws off one thing for me.  It is that first cup of coffee and meditating to get myself in the frame of FLYing.  I adapted and did some FLYing doing my Weekly Home Blessing while waiting on Tom.  Mom made the lunch.  But like I said earlier, “Life Happens When You Are Busy Making Other Plans.”

When I got back home, I grabbed something else out of my tool box.  It is called the timer.  I set it for 45 minutes and the first thing I did was pour myself a cup of coffee and sit in my recliner chair sipping coffee and just relaxing.  Then I got on the computer to say hello to all my FLYsisters as I had not checked in yet.  Got to chat a bit and then the timer went off so it was time to go get Mom from the field.  When I pulled up, Tom’s wife had the same idea to bring him something to eat so I guess she experienced the quote I have been saying throughout this blog.  It was great to see her too.

I want to put this side note into my blog too as I think you are probably asking how can my brother eat and keep on discing his field?  It is called GPS.  He has a GPS system in his tractor and it drives itself! Can you believe that?  As he ate his salad and visited with Mom, he was able to make 2 rounds in his field!  Mind boggling to me from when I was in high school and helping with field work.

On the way back then I decided to get my mail at the post office.  Normally, I would get it, not look at it and lay it down.  Yup, that is how paper clutter starts!  Today I am not going to!  After I finish this blog, I will throw away the unnecessaries, open my mail and place it in the appropriate place.  The paper shredder won’t get much today as it is tired and says needs a break.

No yard work got done today and I myself am worried for rain and snow.  I will do my paper clutter gig and then I am going to go outside to dig up some carrots that I can slice in the food processor and then freeze with Mom vacuum seal machine.

As for my mail, I got 7 envelopes and 2 newspapers with the grocery ads in them.  Envelopes will go in the trash and I will use the newspaper for my carrots I dig up and then toss them away.

It really CAN get interesting with the quote, “Life Happens When You Are Busy Making Other Plans.”  I am so glad I had “Flexibility” and a “Timer” in my tool box so I could continue to FLY, just a different way today!

Keep Getting Rid Of Your Paper Clutter and Keep FLYing!

Just imagine how big this pile could be if it wasn’t attended to for 7 days?  I know because I have done it and it doesn’t look pretty!
