MARILYN’S WAY  Errand Day.  My Errand Day will have to be moved to tomorrow.  The day started OK and then I started getting the chills and sweats.  I may just have a bit of a bug.  I ended up taking a hour and a half nap using my BiPap machine.  It is that time of year in South Dakota where the allergies blossom too.  I am hoping it is just allergies.  So my flying hasn’t been very high today.  I am pleased to say that I got my morning routine done and am going to do a 15 minute declutter after this post.  I am being thrown off a bit without a washing machine.  If all plans well, I will be taking a load of laundry to town tomorrow for my Errand Day to wash at Mom’s.

I also have my moments when things feel like they are piling up.  Please don’t think you are alone in this.  It is always when I don’t get my rest.  There is a phone call I meant to do yesterday for Anti Procrastination Day yesterday and didn’t get done.  I realized this as I was writing and told myself to stop, “Make that phone call!” or as Candy Rougie has us do is Eat A Frog a Day developed by Brian Tracey.  So, I did just that and it became simple.  I was trying to do it all by myself again and it doesn’t work.  I know that is what keeps many of us stuck.  Tomorrow I am going to meet with her and she is going to help me sort it all out.  I am feeling lighter already.

Somehow doing a 15 Minute Declutter doesn’t seem so overwhelming.  In fact I am feeling somewhat energized.  So if you have something you have been putting off I know it is easy for me to say, “Do It Now.”  Having said this I also know how hard it can be to follow through with it.  The thing is, if we want to become unstuck and feel motivated again, we must look for those frogs or things we have been putting off if we want to move forward.  I hope by sharing my experience with the action or no action procrastination seems to stow upon each of us that you will tell yourself, “I Can Do It!” and get this taken care of.  I promise you will feel better.  I know I do.  I am also not going to question myself as to “why” it took so long for me to do this.  That is simply self defeating behavior.  Rather I say “TADA!”
Keep FLYing!
