Getting Dressed To Shoes Hair and Makeup

MARILYN’S WAY  Renew Your Spirit.  Where did this day go?  Sometimes this is exactly what happens and that is the day simply gets away from us.  I am feeling pressured as to the things left to do.  I am glad I have my basics done.

I am standing in the corner where I will be the rest of the day.  Yes, it is dinner time.  I am also going to be getting my salad fixings ready for the week.  I already have my knife sharpened.  I am going to try what I have seen on Pinterest.  It is making a salad in a jar.  I will take pictures when it is done.  Having salad ready sure makes it easier to keep from eating the wrong foods.  Meal Planning has not been my strongest habit.  I still continue to work at it.  I use the excuse that it is just me and I need to not do that anymore.  Granted, I am doing better than I ever have at the Meal Planning.  It is a work in progress.  The important thing is that I am not stopping my shining my sink, getting dressed to shoes hair and make up, making my bed, swishing and swiping and my Weekly Home Blessing.  These are what I believe to be basics.  Laundry is also important to keep your home running smoothly.  I am challenged by this since my washing machine quit.

Tomorrow will be a very busy day again.  I will be going to town to get my hair cut and then I will wash my clothes at Mom’s and there will be a rematch to Skip Bo.   I will be back into town again on Thursday to help mom celebrate her 76th birthday

Today in South Dakota has been rain and thunder.  Lily doesn’t do well with this so she is staying by my side as much as she can.  I am going to be getting her a vest that is supposed to calm her down.  So you can see things are busy around here so if you don’t see me much on Facebook in the next few days, I will be out and about getting things done. Hope everyone had a nice Sunday.   My other goal for today is to get to bed at a decent hour as it has been late the past few.  I am going to have to continue to practice this habit.  I do feel better when I get my rest.
