MARILYN’S WAY  Family Fun Day.  My fun today is going to be watching the 138th Kentucky Derby!  There is so much history and tradition with this event.  I only wish I had a glass of some mint julip.  I will pretend.  Of course the HATS!  Will be fun to see all different kinds.  This is a big tradition for women who attend the Derby.

I am on the verge of either a cold or hoping it is just allergies.  I am giving myself permission to take it easy today.  I have been going full speed ahead for the past week.  Does this mean I don’t do my habits and routines?  Not at all.  In fact I have done most of them and will do the ones that I feel are my basic stepping stones to keep myself flying.  I am just not going to declutter a closet or work on my worst room. I will be giving it some thought as I am resting how I can make things better for me.  One thing I did last week was declutter my dresser drawers.  THat helped tremendously.

Today we have rain again so my gardening was great timing.  My next couple of days is all about how I want my coming week to go.  I usually do some planning on Sundays.  For today I will rest and then do a 15 minute boogie and rest again.  It is what I have been doing and seems to be working.
