Movie Draft Day In Theatres Today

I have been looking forward to seeing the movie Draft Day since I saw the trailer when I went to watch Kevin Costner in 3 Days To Kill.  For me, it was exciting to see him back on the big screen and have been counting the days for Draft Day to come.

That said, I find the Odessey Theatres in my town missing the boat!  Instead they have two rooms showing Captain America.  One is 2D and the other 3D.  What is with that?  If I know most that are going to see the movie are kids, they are going to tell their parents they want to see 3D.  I know I would.  So why not just show that movie and have Draft Day show in the other room?

Who doesn’t love Kevin Costner?  I know 396K in Facebook do.  Then why doesn’t the Odessey Movie Theatre Company realize this?

The only thing I can figure out is whoever made this decision NOT to show Draft Day in my town on opening day, didn’t eat his/her breakfast that morning when deciding the movies to be shown the week of April 11th through April 17th.  What were they thinking?

Maybe I will see if it is showing in the next closest town today.  That would be a college town.  Surely they would be showing it.  Sports plays a large part in funding with a university.

I just checked and yes it is playing at Brookings Cinema 5 the town I went to college in! Now, will I be able to convince my mom to go with me?  I sure want to see it!  I suppose ‘It All Comes Down To…This and That’.
