My TADA’s!

By golly I am posting my TADA’s!  Earlier I got a bad kink in my shoulder so I took a celebrex and iced my shoulder which caused me to fall asleep.  I was far from done with my day.  My shoulder still hurting and everything I had to do involved the shoulder.   I had to make a decision.  Leave the mess for tomorrow and go to bed or get the things done.

What I am about to tell you is that I did make the decision to get the things done.  But that’s not the important part.  It was HOW I came about it.

I had my usual Before Bedtime Routine to do.  The TADA’s were supposed to be done before my BBR.  Instead, I am laid up with icing my shoulder.  Okay, everybody here it is!  I made a decision to get my Before Bedtime Routine done FIRST except for dressing for bed in this situation.  It is something that is so automatic and crucial for my up coming day and tomorrow I drive to the doctor so my routines are even more important to be in place.

Now comes my TADA’s I was able to do because I gave myself permission if I had to stop I could.  I got my important routine done.  Guess what!  I somehow got a momentum going during my Before Bedtime Routine I was able to do the following TADA’s

  • Take the garbage out from doing a Refrigerator Boogie
  • Fold the clothes that were done from the dryer
  • Put the clothes away that I folded
  • Put the wet clothes in the dryer before going to bed.  (Those will have to be folded tomorrow)
  • Scrubbed out a couple containers that needed to be done
  • Unloaded the dishwasher
  • Loaded dishes in dishwasher

I believe I just heard the buzzer for the dryer!  Seems like I will be able to fold the clothes and put them away.  After all I am headed to my bedroom to go to sleep and I know from previous times it takes no more than 5 minutes to fold and put away!

Is there a moral to this story?  When you are having good days be present in your life and teach yourself how to use Flylady lessons to work for you.  When days come along like I have had, the knowledge is going to be your coach to get these things done so you can wake up to a better day tomorrow!

Keep FLYing!
