New Camera!

Posted on Posted in Uncategorized

The Easter Bunny came to my house too! I didn’t get candy this year. Instead it was a new camera! It is a Finepix Fujifilm S6800. I am excited to show you three of my photos I took today. I live in an area where I can find some interesting things to take photos of. My main reason for a new camera was for flower picture-taking. I am crossing my fingers that spring is here to stay. It is beautiful 73 degrees, no wind, and the sun is shining. I have been dreaming of this day all winter long.

I took lots of pictures today and plan to take some more. I guess you could say I am a ‘wanna be photographer.’ Other photos I am interested in taking are nature ones. I will be going to my brother and his family for Easter today. I am taking the camera with me. He lives in the country on a farm and there are lots of subject material out there.

Here are the following:

Lovely violet

One of the first photos I took was of my mom’s violets. She has some beautiful ones. I wanted to test to see the quality of the photo.

Cock-o-doodle-doo!

The second one was of my neighbors Bantam rooster. You could say we have had a history together! None the less, he is beautiful to photo.

Round Robin

The last one was to test out the zoom feature. I took a photo of a robin in my yard. It was busy looking for night crawlers to eat. I have lots of them in my yard.

I’m off to Easter dinner. I am taking the camera with me. Be on the look out for more interesting photos as I learn about my new camera!

What type of camera do you have and what do you use it for? I would like to know. Do you think for the price of $159.00, this camera bundle is a good buy? Feel free to comment.
