Seven Blessings A Walkabout The Flylady Way Has Done For Me

Posted on Posted in Walkabout

It has been ten days now since I swore off peanut butter.  Do I miss it?  At times, yes.  Will I start eating it again in the near future?  No.  I know myself and by doing so, these past 10 days would be just that.  I have gotten so much more out of life from simply replacing a Walkabout for Peanut Butter!

Here’s My List Of My Seven Blessings

1.  Walkabout in the rain was actually fun!  Reminded me when I was young and couldn’t wait to go out in the rain.

2.  I included swinging on a swing in the park.  It was a way to tell myself, “Stop, Marilyn and smell the roses today.”  I hadn’t been swinging on a swing in YEARS!

3.  I am picking up my mail everyday!  It is on the route of my walkabout.  I get to say hi to the postmaster each time.

4.  I am getting fresh air daily.

5.  Vitamin D is free along the way!

6.  I am spending one on one time with Lily.  She makes me laugh daily on this walkabout.

7.  I seem to be solving some problems with flying that kept me stumped!

So, will this work for you?  I would love for you to experience seven blessings I received.  Try a walkabout for seven minutes and see how you feel.  You have learned how important babystepping is to The Flylady Way.  Had I not had success with babysteps in other areas of flying, and now expanded it to a walkabout,  I may still be eating those two slices of toast, butter, and peanut butter in the morning that led to spoonfuls of peanut butter and my question to why I can’t seem to lose any weight!  Denial is so slick isn’t it?

Keep Flying!
Marilyn
