Now Comes Making FRESH Vegetable Hamburger Soup!

Was it worth it to make fresh vegetable hamburger soup from ingredients from my garden? Yes I do believe so!

It is no secret that I don’t cook much.  Most of the reason is because of having Fibromyalgia.  I just have an awful time standing in one spot for very long without feeling like the knife is also stabbing me in the back.  I did get a cushioned matt and it does help.

Tonight I was going to make this soup no matter what.  Why?  Because it really is pretty neat to have all the fresh ingredients from my garden that I picked before the Hard Freeze.  I really wanted to work on it straight through but my back just wouldn’t let me.  It still makes me mad.  The difference is that now I have Flylady and she tells me I can do this 15 minutes at a time.  So that is what I did!

I still hurt even standing and cutting up veggies for 15 minutes and then I would take 15 minutes of sitting down.  It wasn’t until the end of my cooking session I realized I have some “Activon” to put on my back!  It is better than it was. So I guess my main cooking ingredient before I start to cook is to put some of this topical analgesic on my back before I start to cook.  Now it is time to have a cup of this soup to see how I did!

My big kettle of fresh soup with fresh ingredients right from my garden!

It took a while but I did it in 15 minute increments and then remembered I had some of this! So I put some on my back and it did help some.
